Today Malan had an ultra sound to check his hip joints. I was worried they may be loose like mine. I had hip dysplasia as a baby and had to wear a brace.  They checked Malan he was totally fine!  Few!

Three months!!!

Malan is three months today!  Here is a picture of him in the same outfit he wore on his two-month birthday so you can see how much he has grown.  Currently he is 12 pounds 2 ounces!  He has started playing with his toys. He has an elephant that crinkles and he pokes at it as he sits in the car and stairs out the window.  He also has discovered how to clasp his hands.  He holds them and stares at them and sticks them in his mouth.  He also has started drooling.  We think this is because he is starting to teethe.  You can see them in the bottom gums.  We got him a swing this week which he loves to sit in.  To get him to sleep I use the 'windshield wiper' from "The Happiest Baby on the Block" book.  I swaddle him, lay him on my side in my lap and sway him back and forth.

Little Baby Malan

For Zoe's 6th birthday we got her Little baby Malan to go with Little Fode and Little Jessi. Here are pics if the Little Sannoh Family.

Playing

Malan is starting to play with his toys. Here he is squeezing the elephant which makes a crinkle sound. 

Morning Snuggle

This is what I woke up to this morning. Malan snuck into out bed (at three in the morning with Fode's help). That led to some cozy snuggles. Also, Malan discovered his feet were lions and was mesmerized.

Farmers Market

We finally made it to the Hillsboro Farmers Market. It is just across the street, but has not been possible till now. We loaded Malan in his carrier dressed in his handmade sweater and hat ( thanks Sarah) and wandered over to the market. We were disappointed that the donut stall was not there but we did find some fresh corn for Fode. 

Game Day...Go Ducks!

Today Fode and Malan enjoyed the Oregon Duck vs. Washington Huskies football game.  Malan got dressed for the event.

Runny Nose

Malan has his first runny nose.  I went to Walgreens and the pharmacist recommended the NoseFrida.  You stick the tube in the nostril and suck the snot out.  There is a filter to prevent you from swallowing the snot.  Pretty gross, but very effective.  It also helps me work on my lung breathing exercises.
